Brief Bio

Yu Jin is a senior member at AT&T Labs Research. His research work is data-oriented, involving analysis of massive network data for a wide range of applications, such as network profiling, measurement and anomaly detection. He is very interested in applying machine learning and data mining techniques as well as stochastic algorithms for the analysis of massive network data sets.

Yu Jin graduated from Nankai University,
Tianjin, China with an ScB. in Computer Science in 2002. At the beginning of 2002, he was an exchange student in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Following this, he worked on his master degree in NetLab at Nankai Univerisity. In 2010, Yu Jin joined AT&T Labs Research after receiving his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota (PhD thesis advisor Professor Zhi-Li Zhang).
