I graduated with a Ph.D from the
department of computer science
(minor Cognitive Science) and I moved
to California Institute of Technology (Caltech)

Vassilios N. Christopoulos received his Diploma in
Production Engineering
and Management in 2002 and his MSc degree in 2003, from the
Technical University
of
Crete, Chania, Greece. In May 2005, he received his MSc from
the department
of
Computer Science and Engineering at University of Minnesota,
working in the
Multiple Autonomous
Robotic Systems (MARS) Laboratory. Currently, he is a
PhD
student
at the Computer Science and Engineering Department and is
working as
as
Research Assistant (advisor: Prof.
Apostolos Georgopoulos) in the
Brain Science
Center located in the
VA Medical Center of Minneapolis. In addition, he is
affiliated
member
of Center of Cognitive
Science and member of
Computational Perception
and Action Laboratory
(advisor: Prof.
Paul Schrater).
His
research interests focus on Cognitive Neuroscience,
Coding/Decoding Brain
Signals,
Brain Computer Interface, Motor Control, Human Reaching and
Grasping,
Distributed Intelligent Systems and Large-Scale Optimization
using biomimetic methods.
