Hmmm....

So, I'm from 18° 32'N 73\260 51'E. (Pune, India. for those who know not their way around the planet). Born and brought up there. (living at Minneapolis airport at present). A born "sadashivpeThi", I know Pune better than the top of my keyboard. By heart, I'm an Amateur Astronomer and environmentalist. these things look fashionable these days, but i've really been into it for ages. upon my sam! I take interest in trekking/hiking. I am a big time biking enthusiast, and the latest feather in my cap is the 213Km ride in one day I made as a part of my ride from Lake Superior to Pacific Ocean. More details on this will follow soon. Till then you can go take a look at the photographs of the ride at Lake To Ocean album.
People read so little now a days, that even bums like me can brag about being well read. I read on a bunch of topics: history, mystery, science, geography, philosophy, (I love things ending with "y", looks like!) naturally, I love photographY!
best shots and Best Shots 2albums contain some of my favourite pictures.
I've been playing with computers since I was in 12th Grade. I like to make good friends. (this is an endangered species, rather, some researchers claim that it's already extinct) spending hours discussing some wonderful idea with a close friend, talking about my latest poems , the latest book I read, and a million other things is a favourite passtime of mine. my friend amol bhinge has this to say about me. which i guess, is grossly inadequate, but... will do ;-)

Those who care to know what I do in the remaining time, here it is:
Ummm, I'm working(?) towards MS in Computer Engineering here at the University of Minnesota. I've completed my second year here, and plan to graduate by Fall 2002. I've also worked as an intern with Microsoft, the Giant from Redmond. But instead of boring you with all these details, I'd direct you here.
