Read the text! (either before or after, preferably before)
Attend lectures, recitations
Ask questions in the lectures, recitations, office hours, and by email!
Remember, you can ask ANY TAs (not just your recitation leader).
Try the programs from the text/lectures/recitations on your own.
Start your homework EARLY!
Right now, your assignments are short enough that you can finish in
couple days, but in just few weeks, it will be VERY difficult to finish
your assignment in a day or two. Plan ahead and try to start working
on the homework as soon as possible.
Why not finish early and enjoy???
In doing your homework, read each problem very carefully!
Understand what the problem is asking you to do.
Get to know your TA.
If you have an unavoidable problem with due dates, please talk to
the professor (way) BEFORE that particular date.
