Short Bio
Mohamed Sarwat is a PhD candidate at the Computer Science and Engineering department, University Of Minnesota, where he also received his master's degree in computer science in 2011. His research interest lies in the broad area of Database systems, spatio-temporal databases, distributed graph databases, social networking, cloud computing, large scale data management, data indexing and storage systems. He has worked as a visting research assistant at Microsoft Research and NEC laboratories in summer of 2010 and 2011, respectively. He has been a recipient of Best Research Paper Award in 12th international symposium on spatial and temporal databases 2011. More details in Resume
