Welcome compatriot!

I am Danny Rado, a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota. My passion for animation and design motivated mastering more advanced computing concepts, which lead me here. My training has lead me to three main research areas: Graphics, Visualization, and Human-Machine Interaction. In Graphics, I am interested in stereo [3D] rendering and painterly techniques, which will help me reach my goal of creating 3D children's movies. Visualization is still a young field of research and my contribution to its development will be inventing new problems and directions to increase its breadth. So far, Fitness and Music Visualization have caught my attention and I am looking for opportunities to further these domains. Human-Machine Interation is a very broad research area and I am interested in many of its facets. I am drawn to virtual and augmented reality, interactive design, as well as personalization.

Now, on my way to designing research for my dissertation, I find that I can incorporate all my pursuits by focusing on an interactive, fitness simulator.
