My research interest is in Machine Learning, Data Mining and its application to real world problems in Portfolio Selection (Finance), Recommendation Systems and Bioinformatics. My advisor is Dr. Arindam Banerjee.

My internship included designing an algorithm named PPA(Popular Parts and Accessories) for Motors to cater to motor enthusiasts. My algorithm is currently live on the eBay Motors website(http://www.ebay.com/mtr/garage).

PPA serves recommendations when the 'Find Parts' functionality is used under "My Garage" on eBay Motors.
