NOTE: Most of the following description, written few years ago midway through my graduate studies at Minnesota, still applies to me.. but, recent years have taken my life to a whole new elevated level... although a slightly melancholy part of it has been the naturally occurring phenomenon of entering into my thirties, that is just an infinitesimally insignificant psychological abberation as compared to the miraculous and ecstatic events such as tying knot to Supriya and becoming a proud father of our son, Tanmay. Life at this point in time is set on a cruise... :)
Hi, I am Mahesh, commonly known among friends as majo, mojo, j-cap, one-d, etc.! I am originally from Pune, the cultural capital of Maharashtra, India.
I love music.. almost of every kind, depending on the mood of the moment - but of course, only upto a certain level of beatcount and a certain decibel level of tenor, bass and shrieEEEek in voice, essentially excluding the heavy metal, hard rock stuff .. In my opinion, every living and non-living thing in this universe has a musical behaviour of its own ... be it audible or not...
I love watching most of the sports.. playing a few of them comes only after I cross over the biggest and the most insurmountable barrier of laziness.. which happens almost very rarely! but i do believe in and practice Yoga. Its the best way to keep fit one's body and mind... The Hindu sages of old ages have discovered many truths about this human existence, which today's science is barely able to grasp.. Yoga is just one of their gifts to the mankind.
I just love art - especially paintings, photography, and sculpture!
Before you leave this e-home of mine and get trapped somewhere else, here are some thoughts I would like to share with you.. debate them and try to visualize the depth of their impact on an individual's life.. here they are : "the journey never began.. neither will it ever end.. its just a transformation of one form into another.. creation, presence, and destruction are all relative..". well, this is not something I invented, its my perception of the old age Hindu or better yet, Vedanta philosophy, and which I believe in very strongly..
finally, thanks for stopping by and trying to know who I am, the answer to which is eluding me as well! now, by definition, a page on the web must have at least one link coming in and at least one link going out, so go back! put your time to better use!
