Kruskal Wallis
1 Continuous Dependent Variable with
non-normal distribution
1 (Multi-level) Categorical Independent
Variable

The Kruskal-Wallis is the non-parametric
version of one-way ANOVA. Kruskal-Wallis is applied under the same conditions
as one-way ANOVA, except that the dependent variable need not be normally
distributed for Kruskal-Wallis. Kruskal-Wallis is a more stringent test than
one-way ANOVA, so if the dependent variable is normally distributed, one-way
ANOVA is preferable.
