I am using Metis version 4.0 on linux and Windows 2000 for the same matrix (n=722674) and get different results. On Windows I use the library and on Linux I create a library with the Intel 7.0(ia32) compiler.

max.Bnd 6951 7295

The differences on the results is due to differences in the random number generators used by the two systems. It is normal.
