I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at
the University of Minnesota, Twin
Cities (yes, it is quite cold here!). My thesis advisor is
Prof. Zhi-Li Zhang and
I am part of the Computer Networking
and Multimedia lab. I am expecting to graduate in late 2005.
My research interests are broadly in Computer Systems and Networks,
specifically in network routing, service delivery, overlay networks
and security. Over the last few years, I have worked on issues related
to Inter Domain Routing (BGP), which seems to be broken or not,
depending on who you talk to. Before arriving at the UofM, I
received a Bachelors in Information Science Engineering from Bangalore
University, India (where I grew up). I
am currently looking for a job (click here
for job application material).
