In such a cold early Friday morning, when dawn's rays were piercing the darkness, finally an irresisitable force drove me to a sudden brightness after a long journey of darkness to an uncertain world. If you still remember anything of that journey, you know it was tiring and uncertain. It was Febuary 18, 2000 when people of my home country China were still in such a happy mood of the Lunar New Year.
My parents had been expecting me for almost a month while I was actually overdue for only four days. They named me Alexander Yichen Han where Yi is the family name of my generation, chen means dragon and Yichen together means good time.
