I am currently a research assistant in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Minnesota (UMN), Twin Cities, where I have obtained my M.Sc. degree and am pursuing my PhD degree. I am working with Prof. Stergios I. Roumeliotis in the Multiple Autonomous Robotic Systems (MARS) Laboratory, and have great interest in a variety of robotics, computer vision, and machine learning problems, such as:

  1. BulletPerception, estimation and control of single- and multi-robot systems

  2. BulletSimultaneous localization and mapping

  3. BulletMulti-robot cooperative localization

  4. BulletTarget tracking

  5. BulletStructure from motion

  6. BulletVision-aided inertial navigation etc.

Before coming to UMN, I was a research assistant in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), Hong Kong, where I was working in the Control and Computing Research Group under supervisions of Prof. Ahmad B. Rad and Dr. Yiu-Kwong Wong. Prior to that, I received my B.Eng. degree in automation (electrical engineering) from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China.
