I am a
PhD student (09/2007-) at Computer
Science, University
of
Minnesota, Twin Cities, working
with Prof. Vipin Kumar
and Dr. Michael Steinbach
on the
following topics, with advise also from Prof. Rui Kuang, Prof. Chad Myers.
- Computational systems biology, functional
genomics, data mining
Specifically,
my
research
work is motivated to help in the understanding of human
diseases (from genome-wide association data to molecular traits and disease
phenotypes) through the analysis of one or multiple types of
data:
- gene expression, SNP, eQTL, methylation, CNV, sequences, pathways,
interaction networks, metabolomic, fMRI, clinical data
I worked
on pattern recognition with Prof. Sargur Srihari @ State
University of New York at Buffalo (M.S. Computer
Science 2007). I did
my undergraduate @ Fudan
University, Shanghai, China (B.S. Computer Science 2005).
