I am a PhD student (09/2007-) at Computer Science, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, working with Prof. Vipin Kumar and Dr. Michael Steinbach on the following topics, with advise also from Prof. Rui Kuang, Prof. Chad Myers.

Specifically, my research work is motivated to help in the understanding of human diseases (from genome-wide association data to molecular traits and disease phenotypes) through the analysis of one or multiple types of data:

I worked on pattern recognition with Prof. Sargur Srihari @ State University of New York at Buffalo (M.S. Computer Science 2007). I did my undergraduate @ Fudan University, Shanghai, China (B.S. Computer Science 2005).
