| Darin England is a Senior Scientist at Ingenix, a UnitedHealth Group company. His interests lie at the intersection of Computer Science and Operations Research with a focus on the employment of data mining techniques in administrative claims databases. Recent research efforts include analytical models for drug adherence and machine-learning models for the identification of fraudulent and abusive medical claims. Darin received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2006, an MS in Operations Research from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994 and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in 1990. Prior to coming to Ingenix, Darin spent eight years as an Operations Research Analyst in the transportation industry where he designed and implemented large-scale mathematical optimization models for airline planning and discrete-event simulation models for rail operations. |
