Three Amigo in the Good O' Midwest

October 6-10, 2001

It's very disconcerting when you're greeted in WisCONsin by a COW.
More comfortably greeted by MOM.
Rib River was peaceful and fall-like.  Using trees as framing material for a photo was easy when there are plenty of beautiful trees in full color dressing.
Shirley and Dan were extremely laid-back, and we had a great time at the rustic country side.
Things in Wisconsin are real down-to-earth, because everyone cares about the land they live on, even the trees.
This was the main reason that I wanted to go on this trip---to see the trees, the land, and the season.
Adam took this photo of me on the tractor.  It was super comfortable, but it handled like an ox.  I didn't run out of room driving this thing, however!
We said goodbye to Shirley and Dan, and headed to Minnesota.
