Wandering through Familiarity
It's just you and me,
wandering through this haze of familiarity,
in an ageless soul stuck in a maze.
So it's time to join the sea,
swimming in the dirty and unclear future verity,
in a fearless goal stuck in a blaze
of continously renewal.
Tracing the folds and creases
... of those casualness in action,
gives an air of usualness and intimacy
... afforded in long time past.
A romance lost in paradise,
and a rain gone without a walk.
A process traced back and forth between my fingers.
Hiding behind dark glasses,
I may play it off as being cool with a smile that lingers,
but this much I can't deny.
So it's time for me to fly.
Fly but not with the masses.
