I received my Ph.D. in May 2009 working withDr. Nikolaos Papanikolopoulos in the Center for Distributed Robotics in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota. My research interests include distributed mobile robotics, machine learning, computer vision, human robot interfacing. My motivation for work in this field is to develop robots that function in real world scenarios and are capable of making the difference in critical situations.
I'm presently employed as a Robotic Systems Architect at ReconRobotics. My work there has been focused on commercializing the Scout platform developed at the Center for Distributed Robotics into a platform used by law enforcement and first responders worldwide.
