Scatterbrain

As most of you already know, I broke my wrist on the Greenway a few weeks ago. The experience has reminded me of many things, from the quality of my friends to the frailty of my own psychology.

And now, to live up to the title of this post:
We did not evolve to be happy.
Punishment for a crime is only effective if it deters repetition of the crime.
An unexamined immediate emotional reaction is rarely, if ever, helpful.
When in doubt, get out of the house.
