We do live in interesting times. Barak Obama will run in 08, he will win, make Wes Clark his v.p. or at least secretary of state, and then will proceed to heal this country of the wounds we’ve been ignoring or festering for the past, ah, 40 years or so. We’re all going to move on, become better people, and live better lives.

And then China will take over the world economy after relinquishing its tendency for human rights violations.

J & S, you better believe me. It seemed like a dream two months ago, but it’s going to happen–I saw it on Meet the Press. I also saw that Mr. Obama will make a better president than I ever could, (deprecating)a fact that had escaped my laser-beam-like intelligence(/deprecating) until now.

In more local news, DAS and I prevented the apartment from converting itself entirely into filth, then performed car-maintenance and bought candy.

It was a good weekend. Oooh, and I also played magic with the doctor, R and my niece, losing lavishly to all three.
