SFTP from Matlab : A Java based toolbox for enabling file transfer between machines from within Matlab. Assuming a Matlab session waits for files at the remote end, the APIs can come handy when scheduling Matlab jobs on remote machines, parallelizing computations or mere remote file transfer directly from Matlab environment.
