About me:

Hi! My name is Amit Shesh, but you can call me Amit. As of October 15, 2002 I am 23 years and 22 days old (add one day for each day after that!)

I am originally from Nagpur, India. I am originally from Nagpur, India. I did my Bachelors in Computer Technology from VJTI, Mumbai. It is one of the best engineering institutes in India, both in terms of academics and in terms of students! Before that I did my HSSC from Hadas Junior College, my SSC from SFS High School, Nagpur, my primary schooling from Mount Carmel High School, my nursery from Green Fields, Indore and my "fundamental" education from home! So you see, I'm quite an educated guy!

On an academic level, I am quite a studious guy. I qualify as a typical nerd (nerds rule the world!). But studies is something I genuinely enjoy and I hope I keep studying for a good part of my life.

Otherwise I am quite fun to be around with (sadly I'm the only one who says that!!!). I am an ardent music listener, and I mostly listen to Hindi songs. I am quite passionate about a lot of topics, although I usually don't put my opinions and passions into action. You can know more about me from my blog that I try to update every now and then.

My family:

My father's name is Prakash Shesh. He is a businessman and a management consultant. He is one of those people who has the qualities to succeed in any stream of life. The qualities I admire in him are his intelligence (he has just too much of that!), his sincerity and workaholism and above all, his practical approach to life.

My mother's name is Alka Shesh (Phatak before that). She is from Mumbai. She is a housewife and a very loving mother. She represents the "human" side of our family, as I and Daddy are living robots! I greatly admire her patience and her quality her priorities for others.

Then comes my younger brother Nitin, my complete opposite. Most of my life has been academic, and he is versatile. I am a slower learner, and he doesn't even need to learn most things; they just come naturally to him.

Together we make the world's best foursome!

And oh yes, then there's my wife Poonam! We're living proof of "opposites attract". We met in VJTI, and drove each other crazy. We got married in February 2006, so we legally drive each other crazy now.
