Although I was born in Mumbai, I have been a resident of Nagpur, which is the geographical center point of India. After completing my schooling at SFS High School, Nagpur, I joined VJTI in 1998 for a baccalaureate degree in Computer Technology, where I was hooked to computer graphics. In 2002 I came to the University of Minnesota at Twin Cities for a Masters in Computer Science. I stayed on to fulfill my dream of pursuing a Ph.D. leading to a career in teaching and research. I work for Dr. Baoquan Chen. Besides work, my main activities are thinking, eating and creative writing. After I graduate I hope to add sleeping to that list.
My personal association with Minnesota started way back in 1995, when I spent a year at Northfield, MN as an exchange student as part of the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. You betcha, life has never been the same again!
