ROBOCON-2003 Robocon is an international robotics contest started in 2002 conducted by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. The game rules for 2003 competition can be found at http://www.kbs.co.kr/aburobocon2004/ABU2003_outline.html The team consisted of 5 people. We built 1 manual robot and 4 autonomous robots for the competition. All the robots for this competition were built from scratch. For most purposes, we used household things to construct these robots. The manual robot had the capacity to collect 16 Takraw balls, load them in a sequence and shoot at the nets at the speed of 45 mph.. The manual robots were designed to start automatically, traverse along the white lines, reach below the nets, extend and but the takraw ball inside the net. The pictures show the robots developed by our team for this competition. We reached the National Semi-Finals and got the award for the Most-Innovative robots built.
