About Us

Active Prevention was created as part of a course on e-Public Health in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.

The Team

The team behind Active Prevention is made up of:

Katie Panciera

Katie is in the third year of the Computer Science Ph.D. program. She served as the primary programmer for this project and had never taken a public health course before. She enjoys music, skiing, skating, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends.

The Idea

Within the first 36 hours of the course, students were required to form pods of 3-5 people. These pods were the foundations for the three course projects that evolved. MORE HERE
